Pity no streaming links were available for our cup match last night, would have loved to have seen that, especially the hatrick by Dan Kelly in just over half an hour.
Read later this is Dundalk’s 6th semi final appearance in 7 years, and 5th in a row.
SF prediction draw, with us at home for the first time this season in the fai cup !
DFC v Sligo
Rovers v Bohs (assuming they beat Crumlin of course)
#DundalkFC - First Irish club to win an away game in Europe (1963), first Irish club to win points in a group stage in Europe (2016).
My predictions for the semi final.
Rovers Vs Dundalk- dalk to go through after replay in oriel
Bohs Vs Sligo- Sligo to go through.
Draw on Morning Ireland after 8.30 news on Thursday morning
legit argument or not?(i don't follow Junior club football so idk)
Apparently the FAI reckon Bohs will be taking 2000 fans to this match, the Crumlin manager says not going to happen and lucky if 1000 is the overall attendance.
Meanwhile the security bill is €8k - €12k.
Martin Loughran, manager of Crumlin United, talks to STRIKERONLINE about the mounting logistical and financial problems facing the club as they look to host Bohemian FC in the quarter-final of the EXTRA.ie Cup which is down for decision on Monday, September 16.

Great to hear that there was someone from the FAI to make sure the draw was conducted correctly.
Rovers and Dundalk kept apart.
Home draw and avoided Dundalk (until the final 😁. Happy enough with that as long as we do the business against Crumlin !!
Switch the bohs Rovers match to the Aviva to accommodate the crowd
Obviously will go head in Dalymount but real shame that a match that could possibly draw 10k will be so restricted.
I know that is assuming Bohs beat Crumlin but whatever slim chance Crumlin had if they played at home is surely gone with the game now in Inchicore
I'm sure the fact that boez are playing their cup final in the semi final will focus their minds.
Dundalk v Shamrock Rovers final? Tasty.
Don't count Bucko out just yet.
It's a shame Bohs have let Dalymount become what it has, could have easily got 10-15,000 at that game.
Here on a technicality.
That's the kind of potential attendance figure I have in my head too if there were no restrictions. It is disappointing to have less than 4k at it but the possibility of a temporary stand has been mooted so often at this stage that it seems an impossibility. Connaught Street stand and Phibsboro end can't be fixed and there would be access issues to any temporary stand in car the park.
