Ive possibly competely contradicted the point above in another thread! I'm hoping really that there is a 'familiarity breeding contempt' type thing going on in Dundalk and that people are not rushing in to buying tickets via tiketmaster in blocks that arent really where people want to be. Previous years waiting until days before the final has resulted in broader and better options.

Winning the league early and the trend for not mentioning anything but the next game may be the reason for why there isnt a mad rush fr final tickets. Now that the league is finished maybe there will be a focus on the cup final that should be expected!?

There hasnt been an awards nights for 7 years I think.

Stephen Bradley seems to be trying to play up the victim mentality as he takes aim at anyone who has every criticised him. Perhaps finishing second in the league and reaching the cup final gives him the platform to chide the "enough is enough" banner makers.

I can only imagine the rant if he ever actual manages to win Rovers' first trophy since the 2013 Leinster Senior Cup triumph

Your obsessional idolisation of Bradley reaches a new level- mind yourself as it’s going to be long week for you... maybe try and ignore him and spare the rest of us being bored by your musings... this is a chat/debating platform so can you take your boring groundhogesque obsession elsewhere and let the rest of engage in grown up debate ( most of the time ). You won’t but I’ve tried folks.

Good stuff Calcio - but have you any opinion on Bradser lashing out at your fellow fans?

Do you think the season is a success for Rovers irrespective of the outcome next Sunday?

Whoever wins the game on Sunday, there'll be a Tallaght man in charge. Hopefully it's for our club but things are looking up for our town. The future is bright here no matter what happens elsewhere.

Tallaght man who is a big St Pats fan though, will they take a Dundalk win as a piece of 'the future is bight' too

There is also an obsessive like response to any time Ezeikial mentions Bradser with the chorus of 'obsessed' counter rants!!

In fairness to him his head was called for by lots of fans including myself at one stage but the board held their nerve and Mr Bradley seems to be learning as he goes.

    Fair comment KR.

He certainly seems to have restrained himself somewhat from his previous regular madcap media comments, but I suspect he just can't help himself on occasions and reverts to type.

Having a cut off Rovers fans and others who were critical of him or casting aspersions at Dan Carr on his way out of the club is neither classy nor smart.

Enjoy the build up and the cup final day!

Not sure what he is 'learning'. Second biggest budget manages to get second place, especially in light of Cork implosion and Pats nightmare season. Finally winning a derby and finishing second in a one horse race hardly the stuff of 'vindication'
If shams win the cup, then its fair to say it was a good season but a loss and some might question whether that big loss indicated in the accounts was value for money.

Wasnt up to Dundalk to let Rovers know what team we may start (i.e that he be missing)

That is dreadful stuff. Surely they knew he was on seven cards and not to play him in meaningless games because of that?

Looks like it was badly managed by Dundalk. I think he picked up his 7th in the 94th minute of the 1-0 win over Derry on Oct 4.... but then again are you gonna mothball him for an entire month? It's a long time not to play. And that assumes Dundalk were aware of the schedule of when a potential suspension would kick in. Assuming Shields is out it's a massive blow as there's no natural replacement. He's our least replaceable player.
