Just over two weeks to the cup final and no sign of tickets being made available. Gotta love this league / cup / association
i heard a rumour its cos they didnt know who the womans finalists were and didnt want to print tickets that just said "Womans final"
In todays PC world that probably makes sense
I got on the FAI website to see if there was any news about tickets and clicked on the FAI cup tile, last updated in August with the quarter finals, fookin Basics with those tools

Rovers reporting massive uptake early on, good stuff. Dundalk prioritising season ticket holders for some reason!
Anyone know if FAI season ticket holders will get bumped up as usual to premium level for the final?
"oh my, that was some beer we had last night, I think I feel like getting sick" Effin Eddie
The FAI put out a tweet saying all the boxes were taken up by corporates so maybe the Premium tickets themselves might be more scarce but i cant see it, i would expect ST holders to be bumped up as normal but havent heard
A season ticket holder I know got bumped up to premium level.... so presuming all will be?
Ticket arrived in post from Rovers, 7 more sleeps, looks like Ringsend pubs will be doin a lot of early morning trade.
Noel Mooney speaking on Friday night on RTE 2, urging for a record crowd at next weeks FAI Cup Final. I think they have to get over the 36,000!
At best Dundalk FC will bring 8 to 10,000 while Rovers are good for up to 15,000+ maybe, but only 2,000+ at last home game!
I guess a crowd of 30000 again which seems to be the regular over the last few years.
Noel Mooney spoke about it being well promoted especially in the last week, i really hope so Dundalk going for the treble, Rovers looking to end a long drought, both teams playing a nice style you could not ask for a better fixture to promote. Rovers promoting the hell out of it to be fair.
I dont think there has been the local promotion of the final in Dundalk compared to previous years. Not that many people dont know the final is on but its just this week that the club have done the pushing of people and business to get black and white colours out. Feels a tad complacent at the moment. Hopefully I am entirely out of touch!!
