it is interesting to note how players who couldn't score in a fit for UCD are scoring freely for other clubs........

Robbie Martin 137 (2000 to date)

Who as a matter of interest? Glen Fitzpatrick is the only one that stands out.
We're not arrogant, we're just better.

Glen Fitzpatrick certainly isn't scoring freely. Even at Rovers, I think about ten goals was his max. Ciarán Martyn is the only one I can think of (fewer than ten, but still quite freely coming from midfield).

Mark Leech has scored a few this season. Doyle has scored a few too but no more or less prolific than when he was with us.

That's still a lot more than he ever scored with us!

According to CTID's stats above, he scored 17 goals for us. If that's scoring in a fit, he must be epileptic!

Andy Myler scored 13 goals in 48 League Appearances which is quite respectable for UCD.

    Schumi

Ciarán scored almost half of his League goals in one season when he was top scorer for the club.

10 goals in a season for Glen was 250% increase on his return at UCD hence my point!

Kieran Foley's on one goal for Rovers now - that's an increase of infinity percent!

I assume Glen scored four goals in one season for us? That's an increase of 150%, not 250%! This from the same person who reckons Derry's attendances are down 600% - must teach you your maths!

    4 x 2.5 = 10 last time I looked! Derry's crowds are now 1/6 of what they were ...

    If 4 = 100% then 8= 200% and 10 = 250%. Therefore 100% going up to 250% is a 150% increase.

Similarly, if you reduce a number by 100%, you reduce it to nil. Reduce it by 200% and you reduce if to minus what it was in the first place. Reduce 100 by 600% and you get -500. You meant the attendances reduced by 83%, as, say, reducing 600 by 83% means reducing it by 600 * 83% = 500, or reducing it to 100.

Schumi, feel free to move this to a separate topic and let it get buried in time!
