If you're going from my stats, then that's not necessarily the case; there's Leinster Senior Cup games and First Division Shield games per 1997 which aren't included.
CTID - do you have an accurate count for Tony? He should overtake Kav fairly soon (possibly this season), so it'd be nice to mark it when it happens.
You no my policy. Any arguments relating to stats do not belong in the stats thread so don't try to get me involved in one.

Yeah, my bad. My stats show Kav on 342 and Tony on 332. Add in a few Leinster Senior Cup games and First Division Shield games and he's odds on to break the record this season (injury permitting...)
Edit - Kav's also missing some games in my records. CTID - can you fill us in?
Ouch that was bad alright.
In my defence I am a wreck right now.

I don't have a lot of Leinster Cup Stats as my own records are still MIA . However I was keeping scrap books for the first couple of seasons of Tony's career. If you were keeping Leinster Cup stats at the end of that Cup's existence between us we may be able to cobble it together.
Tony McDonnell became the second player to reach 300 League games played last Monday night, and given his present rate of injuries he should break Kav's record by around 2010
Everyone was saying last night that his official 300th appearance will be his next game, CTID.
It depends on whether or not you include Dublin City apparently. 299 without, 300 with.
I've no stats for the Leinster Senior Cup.
Hooper said that Tony said that Pats was his 300th, but I may have picked that up wrong.
As above, it depends on whether the expunged game last year counts.
We're not arrogant, we're just better.
So tell me, who would be the chief UCD stato? I'm looking for a little bit of help on something.

Me or CTID. What you looking for?
At the minute, not a whole lot against UCD, but will probably be back in the future.
The one game I'm missing is a 1-1 draw at Belfield on 29/11/92. I have everything bar who the two Town subs, Donal Golden and Eamon Gavin, replace.

Your best bet might be an old issue of the Soccer Magazine. I have a book( one of a series of 4) which was produced by two Cork guys, which had line-ups from every league game played between 1990/91 and 1993/94 which I will double check for you. I was keeping stats on who played but not which players the sub replaced. I can confirm that Gavin and Golden came on from my own records but not who they replaced.
Does anyone have a list of players that have scored a hat-trick for the club? Willie Doyle is one that I know, presumably Mick O'Byrne. Who else?
I have a collection of such trivia which I intend putting up on STIGonline some day, includnig hat-tricks.
Paul Cullen got four in the Cup against Bluebell once. David Cassidy also got four against Shels in '79. Hat-tricks include Robbie Martin in Monaghan, Jason Sherlock in Derry, Seán Finn against Drogheda, Willie Doyle as noted, Andy Myler against Limerick/Harps (can't remember which) and a few others too.
Edit - forgot the most legendary of all, Ken Kilmurray v Bluebell in the League Cup!
Also Peter Hanrahan v St Francis in the League Cup the previous season.
