There's the weekend fixtures for the Premier Division. It depends on where you're staying for a start. There are three games in Dublin.

If you want a game with a great atmosphere i would go to the Rovers game but if you want to see a good game of football(also a decent atmosphere) i would go to the Shels game.

If you are in Dublin .... either Rovers or Shels game, i'd go for the Rovers game myself ... but either should be good.

    Enjoy !!
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

Come to the Shels game - there'll be a good atmosphere, but the away support will probably be creating it all

Your probably right after Friday nights display against Bray, Worst atmosphere i have ever heard at a Shels game.Fair play to Bray fans they never stopped singing all night but if i have anything to do with friday night against harps then there will be a much better atmosphere.

No worries, but be careful or I may have to get my lawyers. But I don't think it's fair to say that anyway. I reckon this one could be an exciting game.

The reason i recommened Shels is if he wanted to watch good football there's no better team with the form their in at the moment and the reason i recommened Rovers is that they already had probably the best atmosphere before they decided to improve it,also Belfield could prove difficult to find if your not used to going their.

Cheers D2 Red, i appreciate that comment.... The way i look at it is that you should support your team through thick and thin. Whether your 4-1 up or 4-1 down.. The 3 drums help us aswell. Thanks again, you don't realise how much that means to me, being one of the lads that always sing at the matches. I'll pass your comment on to the lads.

Yeah i really have serious respect for you lot after that display, what you did is exactly what i'm trying to preach.I'm always part of the Shels singing crowd and they were so bad that i went down to the ballybough end for the second half, then when they got the 3rd and 4th goal they all started singing again needless to say i was right p*ssed off.I must say though their not always like that,as i said it was the worst ever atmosphere it's usually a lot better.Serious respect to you.

Yeah the atmosphere v Bray was dire, as bad as I can remember it. The Bray fans never stopped singing, so what D2 said, fair play to you lads.

Thanks guys, as i say, you don't realise how much that means to us. We have such a small following, im proud of our troops now... I said to the lads ' why the hell do the crowd seperate' ya know Ballybough end and Briogaid Dearg lads not together. You's would've bin way louder if ya's were together.

I think it was the fact that the atmosphere was so poor that caused a few people to go over to the Ballybough end.

The way i see it is that the crowd in the new stand are generally young and most of the ballybough end are aulfellas and that's where they were before the new stand.

Cheers for all the praise, but our singing was as good as your football.

Sharks are as tough as those football fans who take their shirts off during games in England in January, only more intelligent.
