Had a very disappointing schoolboy career which ended at age 15.
Used to play with my friends growing up. Gave up playing anyway regularly when I hit 18 years of age. Only played indoor for a while in my 20's and 5-a-side on Tarmac into my 30's and stopped.

Did a coaching course at 38 and played a bit during that. Never played as well in my life as I did on that course. Had heart attacks at age 40 have not played since. Nothing beats playing.

Watching is enjoyable have been a regular more or less since 1981 and only missed one or two seasons since then and they were early on in my spectating career. I have done almost everything in the ground for the club.
Manned turnstiles, sold half-time draw tickets, sold programmes, sold match tickets, provided security on one occasion, and was public address announcer. Now I sell club souvenirs on match day, having written for and or edited the match programme/team sheet from 1985 to 2004.

I am also involved in club and League and Provincial administration in Womens soccer. Getting involved is the next best thing to playing. Even though I love watching football and will continue till my zimmer frame won't fit through the gates

Used to play junior football but gave it up after a while, even so i still find watching the most enjoyable cause nothing beats those big european games where you see the dedication of those fans in europe. Just watching the peno shoot out between PSV and Lyon and had to look at the reaction of the PSV fans, pure extacy. Can't stand the premiership though, that prawn-sandwich bull****.

Clearly, you weren't in Drogheda . Entire team, bar Gregg, was brilliant, especially in the second half. Aggrey was good, not only in defence, but also in giving grief to their defence (no names mentioned), and he had a major part in our first goal.
