I've one that's not going to be popular, but Paul McGrath? Definitely at certain points in his career....

A waster? Wha? Get a grip Macy. I won't stand for ridiculous comments like this. He didn't train, but he was still the best defender on any pitch (see signature for proof). Missin the few games doesn't put him in the wasters league. "Wasters" get paid sh1t loads & are rubbish. Now if we start a "bouseys" thread then he'd be up there with Quinny & Whiteside, but please never refer to God as a waster ever again. Thank you.

in fairness, I think the title "biggest wasters" means people who had talent but didnt use it to their advantage. Phil Babb never had talent to waste.

couldn't agree less. Macca was a legend at Real. the fans loved him, and he always performed when he played. It was just because the arsehole of a president thought he needed galacticos to sell more jerseys that he got shafted out of them team

Diego Forlan was the biggest waster of chances when accross the water.he couldn't finish his dinner.
he scored in the world cup?so has gary breen.
though fair enough he is doing the business in spain but i was just basing my comments on what i've seen of him.

Forlán has been excellent this season in Spain. He just wasn't given a chance in England and I don't think the game there suited a player of his quality- much the same as Veron really.
