Sorry Shilts, it stinks how it was done, they should have let Avondale know of their intensions to appeal before they played, then no one here or involved in football would have an issue. That's what has most people annoyed not the fact they won an appeal.

I think everyone agrees that UCC handled this badly. They waited to see if they beat the dale and then decided to appeal. Obviously because then they knew they had a chance to be recognised as league winners. But the real culprits are the blazer boys in the MSL. Clubs should take a stance against them in order for shake up in how it is run. Its the same faces in charge every year and nothing has changed. A bunch of cowboys

Maybe this might be the shake up needed for the MSL to get its house in order and actually read the rule books and maybe apply the rules as opposed to doing what they want . If Msl had dealt with the issue as per the rules then ucc wouldn't have had a case etc. I'm personally delighted that Msl shown up as Cowboys and made a laughing stock I don't agree with the way ucc handled matter but msl aul etcc have been getting away with making up their own rules long enough and have never been challenged

Maybe if certain clubs got their act together as well, (especially those trying to cheat there way through the season playing non-registered players, suspended players etc.) these situations might not occur, two sides to every story.

Isn't that the crux of the whole issue? Leeds played illegal player in 3 games, got points in all of them, only had the points from one of them games taken off them and not the other two for some reason. The system works, the MSL were very fast to take 9 off Fermoy juniors two seasons ago (wrongly as it turned out in the end) but not Leeds? Why not is the question?
It's cost the honest club dramatically in this instance due to the whole knock on, on your logic that can't be right can it?

Fermoy were under pressure before a ball was even kicked road works in the tunnel mention they arrived very late with little time got a warm up. We played against a strong wind in the 1st half but never really looked under any pressure. We started the 2nd half really strong and probably should of scored more than 1 goal but in fairness to Fermoy they rallied in the last 10 mins and they could of but for 1 or 2 outstanding saves from tricksey got an equaliser. All in all a good game between 2 good sides.
but who is claiming the goal magic or holden haha
