ST. MICHAELS FC V AVONDALE UTD
Game to be played at: Cooke Park, Tipperary
Ringmahon sign Roy Kenny last night from Cobh Ramblers, good signing for Ringmahon. Putting together a nice squad down there. Surely a banker to get promoted this season.
Have Cobh Wanderers signed a new keeper
Ringmahon should be there or thereabouts, ya don't know what to expect from the likes of mayfield and blarney and them, blarney will b too young I think, a lot of their u19 team training iv heard
Jason Green is Wanderers new keeper.

Saw the signs too as have others which hasn't gone down well with some, I thought the same thing that it was a dig at Ramblers which surprised me as I never heard of any animosity between the two teams. I guess the likes of Martin Deady, Brendan Frahill, George Gill, Eoin Hastings, Shane Halla and Keith O'Flynn aren't local enough!
That said I'd bite your hand off to have the likes Conor and John Meade, Davin and Chubbs to be playing with Ramblers but good luck to them.
''and I for one welcome our new insect overlords''
Any bookies offering odds on the Munster Senior Leagues this year lads?
LESS OF THE BULL NOW!
Cork city do your city your club so why shouldn't they say local club local players IF that is the case which I suspect it is. Wanderers has always been a feeder club to Ramblers and both clubs get on really well but having said that politics has always been the biggest problem down there.
Rams u19's were virtually all from cork and the senior team is more or less the same. Hallahan no2, Hastings when has he actually played, Gill is 16, Deady is off to Wexford, do their squad is prob 85% cork players
I'm sure Cobh is within the county of cork so what's the problem

Seen the squad Wanderers had for their game yesterday, over 20 plus players, wouldn't like to be telling a lot of those players they are on the bench. Serious squad!
One thing that annoys me is how people expect that Ramblers should have a mostly local team. League of Ireland standard is so high that a squad of players from a town of 12,000 just won't work. People need to realise that. When we won the league there were 4/5 Cobh players and no-one cared as they were successful
I agree that they will always need outside players because of the standard but the reality is more locals the better because it generates more support, what's wrong with Wanderers saying they are the local team with local players if its true. Rams could always say the same and playing at a higher level.
Wanders this ,wanders that!!
A bit too much talk about a team that shuld walk the 2nd DIVISION!!
lets just hope all these players are going to be loyal because i cant remember too many of them being loyal in the past!
