I know it's the off season and things are quiet but this forum is not a bitch fest.

Why would it threaten his international place Mary's are a big club and will be in the mix if they are making as many signings as you say?? Also in the forum acouple of months ago it was mentioned that Hoey has a habbit of promising to sign for a few teams on the off season could this possibly be a bad rumour any more info Glenbuck you seem to ne well connected up there

I too have been very quiet since the end of the season and have to agree with collcorforever when he said this thread has turned a little sour the last few weeks. I understand its boring this time of year but its like an episode of desperate housewifes at times. all this poo-talk has resigned me to signing off for a while and i shall also be taken a break for another month or so. Time to recharge the Double A's...See ye all next season.

Hoey was with Marys before Rockmount. Alot of rumours out there about players signing. Alot of players like talking about a move but never do. Some players like being chased and others are too quiet to say no so they just keep it going all Summer. To be honest I love this CRAZY time of the year because the speculation is great fun. Mary's will be strong if they can sign a few but they really need a keeper if you ask me. Cant wait for it to start. I would expect most teams go back 3rd week in July and those who had long seasons give it a week later. It will be interesting to see who signs with who.

I am not hearing much about Everton, Mayfield and Leeds - all 3 clubs can beat anyone on the day but also all 3 clubs could struggle too I think this season. Tough places to go and get 3 points all the same.

Everton and mayfield have lost a few players..Leeds were trying to sign Kenny Coleman but have alot of very good young players but will need to add a few with experience...think though these will be the bottom 3 teams this year

i wouldn't put everton in the same conversation as the other 2, its abit harsh on them they are easily a step above them and probably in the 2nd tier like blarney. leeds and mayfield will be there or there abouts for relegation all year.its tough to keep up with rockmount, avondale and douglas hall even though there seems to be alot of movement within their clubs this year which might allow the rest to get closer.blarney had 2 good cup wins at the end of the season even though they were in shoot outs and might be able to crack into the big boys and everton and marys are always tough to beat hopefully it can be just as close as last year.

I beg to differ.I can see everton struggling next season.to be fair they had a great start last season but faded in second half of season.add the loss now of long to that and plus the addition of two very good footballing young teams to the league they will find it a long hard season.have they signed a few?.have they young players coming from a youth team?

i can see why people are tipping ourselves and leeds for the drop next season,us cos we finished 4th from bottom and leeds being new boys to the premier league, but why isn't midleton being talked about they finished 3rd from bottom last season, and nobody talking about college corinthians,i think someone posted a few months back that they looked a poor team and unfit, someone else posted there gonna finish in the top 3 in the premier league this season and someone else said 6th,am i mmissing something here cos there's no talk of corinthians signing new players,so why are they not being talked about for the drop
