Ya the manager in question runs the fas course with Stuart Aston In Carrigaline, there is no problem having an amateur team while working for the Fai but you can not have a paid job in the leauge of Ireland, hence why Alan renolds can't "officially" take the Waterford job. Imagine the sense of pride you would feel getting a poor Bandon Side a number of years ago promoted to the Premier Division of the MSL, and then you resign!!! Makes no sense what so ever. You would imagine if he wanted to prove himself he would have taken the challange of keeping Bandon in the Premier division head on , not resign!!!
As usual no clue what's going on in real life on here. As a member of the Fas fai program his contract does not let him manage an amateur club. Conflict of interest. He can do pro or semi pro. He got permission to finish out the season the season with bandon.
I see a few Managerial announcements on Facebook pages. Brendan Cronin and Dermy Ryan for Mayfield Seniors and Leeside Seniors have added Conor Murray and Jeremy O Sullivan to the already there Dave Hall.
