Any predictions on who will get promoted or who will get relegated from this league? There is around 6 teams who can go down by my viewing. Anyone know if its one or two go to the 2nd division. I know 2 get promoted into our league and im assuming Mayfield will be one after seeing them play this year against rockmount. They look a decent team.
I would put my money on Ringmahon. Leeds are also in the hunt. All 3 have to play each other as far as I know so alot could change over the next few weeks

Mount won last night in the beamish cup, 2-1 at home to someone! I wasn't there!
The above is all opinion and based on personal experience. Unless stated otherwise it is not a dig at anybody, well probably none of you lot.

from what i have seen personally this season....i wud putmy money on mayfield and ringmahon to go up(despite that ringmahon have lost a few players since start of season!)
both teams have impressed me the most this season, dont believe leeds wud be gud enough to hold there own in the premier league!!!
And to do with the relegation battle, mallow luk safe now, between everyone else for the chop!!two teams go down and i think( and hope) it will be corinthians and lakewood!!
lakewood on a terible run and it looks like continuing!!lost lots of players and havent recovered since....think corinthians dont have strong enough squad to get necessary results to stay up either!!
relegation battle will be an exciting one though!!

Saw a bit of Corinthians last week vs Carrigaline.

They looked a disorganised rabble and were well outplayed by Carrigaline who, I understand, only had a handful of regulars starting.

Typically enough, I suppose, they survived to get to penalties and get through.

Mount beat Wanderers 4-0 on Sat in a stroll. Butsy got 2, Gary and Colin got one each.

    Division 1

I reckon Mayfield to Win, Ringmahon to go up with them and i feel its gonna be Middleton and Lakewood to go down.

Passage, Tramore, Carrigaline, College Cors are also in the mix to go down but i think they will all be safe!

Passage and Tramore have won a few games recently with Carrigaline and Cors slipping up recently.

    Passage - Cors (Off)
    Midleton 3 - 0 Lakewood
    Leeds 2 - 0 Tramore
    Ring Mahon 3 - 0 Mayfield (I think)
Carrigaline Lost to Mallow as far as i no but not sure of the result!

    Any takers!

Also hear that Cors have finally recieved the point for the match with ringmahon! Think this is reflected on the Munster Senior League website.

Congrats to CIT on their 1st point of the season ...in April.
But it doesn't matter anyway because they can never be relegated!!!

Doesn't say much for Bandon either does it???

Wanderers vs Ballincollig in the cup on Saturday is also postponed. Incidently the Over 35's game Friday involving the same two teams is also off.......I assume Ballincollig have suffered some sort of bereavement????

    Douglas Hall 3 Everton 0
Stachan scored twice, Robbie Brohan got the third. In between, Podge saved 2 penalties. Always a tough fixture for the 'Hall - great to collect the three points.
    Marys next on Thursday.

    Tramore 3 - 0 Lakewood.
Comfortable win for Tramore, does their hopes of staying up no harm at all. Think they only have one left against Ring Mahon, is it??

    Passage Carrigaline called off.

Big weekend for all the teams in the first, anyone from 5th down can be relegated and i believe that the top 3 can all still win it!

    Tight this year

    Unhappy

Douglas Hall 1 St. Marys 2
Major disappointment - Marys better team on the night, looked dangerous all through. 'Hall had a couple of spells where they were on top, but failed to capitalise.
Marys led 2-0, Deccie O'Connell scored a spotter for the 'Hall, but Marys held on.
