    Junior League Division 1:
    Corinthians A 3- 0 UCC Academicals

Was 0-0 until half-time. UCC had a man sent off for a handball after about a half hour, poor decision from the ref as it clearly hit his shoulder. Penalty was saved but Corinthians never really had to break a sweat in the second half.

It's still under the msl, despite being the junior division.

Think they signed 5 in all, not sure of names. Don't think they can play on Sunday.
The above is all opinion and based on personal experience. Unless stated otherwise it is not a dig at anybody, well probably none of you lot.

There eligible from Monday as far as I know.

John Meade, Kenny Coleman, Mikey O'Shea, Conor Meade, Kieran O'Reilly have joined James McCarthy there.

Blarney apparently have signed Coleman,Meade's x2 and Shane Barrett I think.Good signings for a good club. They have some desperate injuries at the moment with Weldon,Collins, Cahill, O Connor etc, O leary carrying a knock also so they could do with some reinforcement

Will these new signings be eligible for the Keane Cup Final this Friday?

As far as I know they would have been eligible for a replay in the Intermediate cup if it was a draw yesterday, but that's not confirmed.

I assume they won't have played for another team in the comp so should be free to play as long as they are registered in time.

What are all these rumours Cliffy about lights in Rockmount Park?
Tis cold enough there at the weekends without having to go there at night as well.

Oh yeah, close to being up and running now. Won't be long before we'll be playing on the Friday nights at home or so I believe. Haven't seen em in action myself yet - no more blustery windy wet Sunday mornings - instead it will be hot and balmy Friday nights to enhance our freeflowing passing total football . Bring it on.

Cliff.... When do you expect to see the lights in use? Wonderful to see club progressing and staying within strict (they have to be) budget constraints.
