were all very quiet on here that last few days! any results from the weekend games if any played? any speculation on transfers when the window opens on 1st december, anyone got anything at all to say about anything
Congratulations to the three MSL players who were in the Ireland team which qualified for the UEFA Regions Cup Finals. Brendan O'Connell, Ken Hoey and Deccie O'Connell again represented the league well and can be well proud of their efforts.
Match reports on the FAI website and other details on the UEFA website.
Well Done to our representatives.

Why is there not more players from the Munster Senior League on this team. I know you cant play on it if you played league of Ireland but surely one or two more players would be good enough to make it. The likes of Ray O Leary etc. Anybody have any suggestions who would be good enough to make this squad?
Rockmount beat Castleview 3.2 up in whitechurch, not sure who got the goals up there. All other games called off.
As far as I know,Ray O Leary from Blarney was on standby for the trip.some decent games next weekend

it's inevitable that this transfer talk arises once the window is in view again, i personally wish there was no window and 1 club per season rule, the amount of transfers fellas do is ridiculous. whats your opinions?????
I think it should be only open for 2 weeks in january. And that is only because clubs might have long term injuries etc. and need new players. With the loyalty players show these days their could be alot of disruption to teams during the 2 months the transfer windaow is open. Which I think is pretty excessive. Surely the 4 months from june till september is enough time for clubs to sign the players they wish to sign.
Far from it, heard they might be adding to the panel, Cans from Grattan returning ,1/2 from Cobh Rams and maybe a bit of experiance from an ex Cork city winger!!! might lose a squad player or 2 but 90% staying put. St Marys to give the mount and avondale a run for the league
"Build it and they will come"
Avondale 2-2 Blarney
Ballincollig 1-2 castleview
cobh wanderers 0-4 st.marys
ucc 0-0 everton
i think the transfers should go back to the old way the big clubs like dale and mount come along at start of a season sign good players from smaller clubs telling them they be playing, with the new transfer window the clubs only play 5 or 6 games before the windows ends 2 or 3 of those games or keane cup games the bigger clubs like dale and mount start the new guys to see how good they are if there not good enough there sub for 2 or 3 leauge games and then the transfer window ends now those new players are stuck with dale are mount as a sub while the smaller club could badly do with these player what i'm trying to say is the new rule only benfits the big clubs cos they have bigger squads
Cobh Wanderers 0-0 St Marys today

I was at the Carrigaline/Ringmahon game Saturday which was played in Crosshaven. Carrig left out the likes of Wayne Bruton and suffered as a result. 3-0 down at half time they eventually went down 4-1. Its going to be hard for them now to win the championship.
True had carrig taken their ealry chances it would have been a different game and they dominated the second half. The scoreline didn't refelct the game as a whole but carrig can't afford to be throwing three points away like this. The club is too big to be in the 1st division.
It's not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog.
