Very good young side but think that could be their downfall against experienced teams like Mahon, the view.saying that though would agree with you, dark horses they are

there a mixture of youth and older.they went whole season undeafed.i know it was 2nd division but stil gotta give them credit.they have the advantage of there astro pitch aswell.some teams just dont take to it.once the training starts we will be raring to go and learn from our mistakes last year

The season is nearly upon us folks. I haven't been on this for quite awhile and i'm not going back through the pages to see if this has been said already but rumour has it, Douglas Hall are going to lose 2 or 3 very important players to either Avondale or College Corinithians

you know the msl better than most,on page 193 you said you never seen alan martin play, alan martin only retired 4 or 5 years ago, some of us older guys have been watching the msl since the early 90's.i'm not having a go at you,you just can't come out with a comment like that and not know players from 4 or 5 years ago

I'm willing to bet your time scale of martins retirement is a bit short :-)...I know the leagues from watching my older brothers over the last 5/6 seasons and playing myself up to last year.

i'd say you are right chief. more like 7 years tbh for martin but not 100% sure.not to know alan was a top MSL player though is a strange one.
