Good stuff. Hopefully he will be able to keep onto most of the current players and add a few also. Mark O Sullivan was training with Cork City the other day.

John O'Rourke is from Cobh, played with Ramblers and then went to Shels, had to retire young due to knee problems and went on to manage Ramblers for a bit.
I think he went back playing MSL with College Corinthians after that.
Don't know anything about Kenneally only remember him from his playing days with City many many moons ago.

Karl Caulfield(Casement), John Meade(Blarney), Derek Varian(everton) have signed for Cork city. Big loss for the league. Wish them luck with City. Its good that MSL players are getting a chance to play for City.

In recent years was manager of Kinsale, City Wanderers (AUL), Hibs (AUL) & more recently Everton (MSL Senior) - used to be involved in the Cork Schoolboys League as manager at one stage. He is from Crosshaven originally but from what I hear he burnt his bridges there a longtime ago. I played under him at Hibernians, good coach but a tough man to deal with....

Prepare now for your trip to the 2nd Division because that is where Barry McGovern will bring you. Why do you think Everton parted company with him ? He is a gentleman, an average coach but unfortunately he will expect somebody in Ringmahon to do the training for him. But remember he is not a manager, he is clueless in that department.

Don't think that he would sign for them seems committed to Blarney but you'd never know

There is going to be a lot of change in the Blarney team. New management coming in, John Meade has joined Cork City, Shane Barrett is supposedly going back to League of Ireland as well, Conor Meade isn't suppose to be signing back for them which leaves Kenny Coleman as the last remaining Ex-Cobh player and he may decide to follow them out.

This crops up every year, but I'd be amazed if it happened.New management in Blarney though.

Shane Barrett signed for Waterford United last week. Conor Meade is playing ball in America at the moment too. Is James McCarthy still with Blarney?

Not really sure about his situation, he only played 2 or 3 times last season with them when their other keepers were away or injured.
Don't think he is expected to sign for next season.

Met Ray last night, he is going nowhere. Few new signings lined up for Blarney next season too app. Decent management set up planned for next season. Hopefully this season Blarney can push on to rattle Rockmount. About time Blarney or Douglas stepped up to the plate.

Anybody any update on garryduff?CITs appeal against result was thrown out, although Garryduffs players and management admitted immeadiately after the game, had some players phone CIT guys to apologise and asked not to lodge appeal as it would almost certainly mean the end for them in the MSL,

Appeal thrown out on grounds that Garryduff didnt receive their copy of the complaint form.

    Typical.......

Nice easy way out for the MSL - Garryduff get away with it once again.

Alan O'Sullivan is no longer in charge of Cobh Wanderers. No manager appointed as of yet.
