Squad announcement not for another half hour but his place apparently hinges on whether Dele Alli recovers from injury.
A few different inferences that Troy is on the bench today.
He is with the team anyway: https://twitter.com/thespursweb/stat...391316480?s=19
And Robbie Keane posted a photo from the dressing room which shows a Parrott jersey beside Kane's: https://twitter.com/djstevemcgrath/s...877993472?s=19

Tuesday and Wednesday night this week could be interesting for a few of our younger players, would expect a few that haven't played yet to get game time in the EFL Cup.
As an aside, Nathan Murphy of Newstalk announced Parrott wasn't in the squad about ten minutes before the matchday squad was posted online by Spurs' social media team. I thought there was an embargo on all journalists until the club itself announces the team? Maybe it only applies to players in the team, not players ommitted?
Irish qualified Conor Noss was on the bench for Borussia Monchengladbach II yesterday against Lippstadt.
Today, he scored the only goal for the U19 side in their 1-1 draw with Fortuna Dusseldorf.
Going by the translation of the game report on the official site - https://www.borussia.de/de/aktuelles...ilansicht.html - it seems it was from a rebound
This was his second goal in two games for the U19 team, after this goal midweekthe team dominated the game in the early stages and logically in the 23rd Minute also went 1-0 lead. After a nice attack on the right side failed Jonas Pfalz initially still on the opposing keeper, the rebound pressed Conor Noß over the line.
An embargo has no force other than a request to defer publication to a time that suits the club - a journalist can ignore it if they want. Obviously, they run the risk of not getting further press releases, or having the PR person going full Malcolm Tucker on them if they do, but embargoes are really over-used. I've seen them used for the most ridiculous reasons on press releases.
Hello, hello? What's going on? What's all this shouting, we'll have no trouble here!

Barry Coffey played for Celtic's Colts side who beat Dundee 4-2 in the Reserve Cup today: http://www.celticfc.net/news/16708
Armstrong Oko-Flex was involved in all four goals
Does the absence of Ofolabi mean he will be going straight into the first team squad? Or does it mean he was left out to allow Leigh Griffiths some extra game time?
Couple of other developments: Will Smallbone (now has a tricolour beside his name on Prem League site!) scored one of Southampton's goals in their 4-2 defeat to Liverpool. O'Driscoll and Ledwidge also played but Thomas O'Connor was not in the squad. Meanwhile Kelleher played for Liverpool - guess it's important to keep him active - I'm getting worried he'll get stuck in back-up limbo - his peer Kamil Grabara is playing regularly for Huddersfield now: https://www.premierleague.com/match/...on-v-liverpool
Ethan Varian has been moved up to U23 level for Stoke off the back of his recent goalscoring form, making a 12-minute cameo against Fulham: https://www.premierleague.com/match/...stoke-v-fulham
Caoimhin Kelleher was in goals for Liverpool U23s last night, against Southampton U23 with Aaron O'Driscoll, Kameron Ledwidge and Will Smallbone in the Saints' starting XI. Smallbone scored Southampton's first in a 4-2 loss.
The full game was streamed live, and is available on Southampton's youtube page
Smallbone's goal is on 20:50, maybe a bit lucky that a loose ball falls to him on the edge of the area.
This is all well and good, but it more than likely means that none of the Southampton players will feature against Fulham tonight in the league cup. You'd expect Thomas O'Connor and Will Ferry to be involved.
That's true, I was thinking of AEK
https://kesslereffect.bandcamp.com/album/kepler - New music. It's not that bad.
And what’s Ryan Johansson’s plan for the year? He’s not in their A or B squad, and has only come on as second half sub for their under 19s. No word of a loan move. So presumably he continues with their under 19s? Hardly inspires confidence in his prospects
Jordan McEneff started for Arsenal U21s last night in the Football League Trophy against Northampton, and even more remarkably, U16 cap Mazeed Ogungbo came off the bench for the last few minutes.
Hadn't heard of Ogungbo before this, but he seems to be highly thought of at Arsenal: https://arseblog.news/2018/12/school...g-for-arsenal/
Has some photos playing for Ireland on his instagram: https://www.instagram.com/mazeed_og/
Travers and Kilkenny both starting for Bournemouth
Jimmy Dunne on the bench for Burnley.
