I see mccauley got another for Pat's tonight 2 in 2 delighted for him strange how cut out of the Irish scene he has been. Parrott moving to seniors might give him a sniff at 21s

If he's playing well in the LOI Kenny will give him a look in - I suspect Ronan Hale moved to Pats for the same reason. With the rate the other 21s strikers are developing, there'll be chances there for other players.

With Carr gone now Charles he would have been a great addition for rovers and ye would have given him goal chances galore . That environment would have been demanding of him and would have progressed him . I know drennan had lots of difficulties but his conditioning looks poor hope that is not a sign of a lack of professionalism at Pat's.

Potter gives his insight into Connolly. Reaffirming what we already read between the lines: if he impresses in the next couple of weeks, he’ll be in squad/on bench this season, with the loan option still on the cards until sept 2

Nathan tormey scored for arsenal 23s last night too old for our 19s unfortunately this season. Mceneff got another half hour on his comeback

Rovers were in contact with him but he presumably chose Pats because there was a quicker route to first-team football, and that seems to be born out.

Curious one here: Harry Charsley played for Everton U23s, in spite of being released earlier this summer: https://www.premierleague.com/match/...lves-v-everton - apparently Everton are allowing him to stay at the club while he recovers from injury and looks for his next move: https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/spor...-u23s-16775218

Bad day for Oisin McEntee yesterday - scored an own goal and got sent off against West Ham - Conor Coventry captained the Hammers while Daniel Jinadu and Anthony Scully were on the bench: https://www.premierleague.com/match/...tle-v-west-ham

Kelleher back playing with Pool under 23s, conceded 3 vs Chelsea. Goal for Reghba for Leicester. Expected irish complement for Southampton

Luca Connell and Barry Coffey were in the Celtic Colts side that lost to Clyde in the City of Glasgow Cup: http://www.celticfc.net/news/16677
Interesting point from the report - Armstrong Okoflex was also in the side, and the report describes him as follows
Luca Connell did well to fashion some space on the edge of the Clyde area, but his effort on 22 minutes was well saved. And Connell turned provider just before the break to set up Armstrong Oko-Flex, but the Irishman’s net-bound shot was blocked by the Clyde defence.

PL2 games over halfway through. Another goal for Connolly vs Rehgba’s Leicester. Aaron must be really bored at this stage. McEneff on bench for Arsenal playing Charsleys Everton. OConnor looks to be back playing RB for United. Bazuna dropped for Man City. Coventry doing well for Hammers.

Wilson returns at full back for city.
Parrott might still be injured from last week. Spurs aren't playing until Sunday afternoon, so we won't know more until then.

Already looked into it. Reportedly not recovered from dead leg. Not a sign of being in match day squad vs Newcastle. Spurs are overloaded with options at the moment, including Ali and Moura who are desperate for game time.

on another note, Mick sent the assistant to the spurs u23 game in case Troy would play. I’m sure with some communication they would have found out it was a waste of resources. Furthermore, why do the management team have to make a song and dance every time someone goes to watch an Irish player. Just get the job done, no need for all the hand waving Mick. We know you’re great

If he wasn't, or there was no reports that he wasn't, then people would be complaining that he's not watching players. Damned if you do, damned if you don't

All in moderation!! He seems to be going off the wall a bit with the reporting at the moment. Some reporting is important for sure but he’s def overdoing it!

The boy can finish, no doubt about it. He will get a chance vs Bristol City midweek. Let’s hope he can take his chance
