FM2005 Patch(help needed)

I recently downloaded both the 5:02 and 5:05 patchs from the sigames website, I thought these were to fix the bug were the game keeps cuting out in December 05. However in the my game which I had saved just before at the end of the 2005 EL season the game still cuts out. I know both patchs were installed correctly as all players etc were updated.

I've just started a new game, will this face the same cut out problem, or is there a different patch I can download that solve the cut out bug?

sorry bout not sending the CD, old chap, i've gotten bogged down in comsumer behaviour studying and trying to fix this peice of crap website. i've not gotten as far as 2 seasons into the eL but the ptach should fix it for new games. i'm not entirely sure about saved games though. i'd suggest searching around http://community.sigames.com for the answer, and if you have to, registering and asking the question.
im currently playing as Saint Pauli in german,y but i might load up the cork city game that i got bored of (won everything in the first season, yet couldnt sign new players. damn lennox and his money-saving rationale) and let it run to the end of the 2nd season to see what happens.
i'll report back (anything to avoid consumer behaviour)

from what ive been told once you have updated it you need to start a new game again to get the best from it .

I loaded the all new flashy patch in with updated teams and all, and the season that I had brought the Blues to finish second in the table vanished, and I couldn't play on Liverpool fans thought that they had it bad
