Football in Ireland Visionary Group draft submission

This a Niall Quinn-led thing, with a raft of lofty goals on how to restructure and improve the FAI and domestic football in general. See page 4 and 5.

Main LOI idea is creating a private company to run the LOI, with the aim of being fully pro by 2026 (somehow).

Worth looking through the report, I'm not sure there is so much new stuff in there. The question, as always, is how they will make that happen.

It has FAI logos on it, but not sure if it is actually connected to the FAI or not, seems to be coming from the 'Visionary Group' (what a name to give yourselves). Was it commissioned by the FAI?

Yeah anyone referring to themselves as a visionary group has a lot of work to do to win me over straight away. As ever with these things there’s not a huge amount of detail on how they propose to do the key things. And what’s in it for them?
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.
