    Glentoran V Linfield

    Last night on UTV

    The County Antrim Shield

    Glentoran won 2 nil.

Very windy and the pitch was crap. There was about 7,000 at it i reckon. The standard of football was the same as any of the top six in our league.

Good to see it though. It was presented very well and to be honest it was alot better than anything RTÉ have produced for us in the past.
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

BBC presented an excellent Irish Cup Final show. Funnily enough, the game was Glentoran vs Linfield. Anyone else and they don't want to know.

Interesting to read about an Irish League section here. It could really work!

    There are very few

of our nortern friends posting here or anywhere really, i would love to know more to be honest.

As least the BBC did a good job, unlike other broadcasters we know. More like briefcaster.

The more the merrier! Both of our leagues have very similar problems etc., and two heads are better than one in my book.
