    FAI Council Meeting Today

    https://www.irishtimes.com/sport/soc...blin-1.3892432

All senior clubs have a delegate.

Do any clubs make any of their positions or policies public?

To be brutally honest, while the LOI has been the difficult child of the FAI.. but we always had a voice in there- has it been used effectively? Will it start to be from now on?

    Time will tell I guess.

I was of the opinion that the LoI delegates were greatly outnumbered on council so even they spoke collectively may not be able to carry a motion?

60 members on the Council I think, so don't think so.

A third of the delegates is a hell of a start. It would be great to see more transparency at all levels of the FAI, and our own clubs is a good place to start.

Anyhow, the news today does seem positive: https://www.rte.ie/sport/soccer/2019...sub-committee/

Plenty of voices but never saying the same thing ! the clubs are a minority on the Board but various clubs fighting their own corner had made it difficult to get any cohesive approach.

I know with us that we do publicise who represents us at fai council meetings.
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?

I had hoped that the PCA would have sorted this but progress has been slow mainly due to the FAI's intransigence.
I think we're beginning to now understand why.
