    Ticket prices

Was just wondering do any of the rest of the clubs still have student prices. Sligo Rovers student prices are now the same as adult prices.the people at the turnstiles say it is because the FAI wont allow student concessions(which i cant see is true). Are they talkin Sh*t or is they FAI just making another mistake (after another and another and another).

Shels match prices are as follows

    Adults 15euro
    Kids 6euro
    Students/OAP 10euro

They never generally charge for anyone under 6/7.

At Bohs we do too although some of the students are very very mature :

    Jodi Stand& Connaught St Stand:

    Adult €15, Student €8, Under-16/OAP €5,

    Des Kelly Stand :

    Adult €12, Student €8, Under-16/OAP €5.

Kids go free for most games though !

EL still great value. 90 minutes of thrills and spills in the fresh air, and for a fraction of the price of a bad gig

Student prices as in uni students as well ?

I am not sure actually about Shelbourne. It's the sort of thing you don't check when you are not a student yourself.
Last season when we played at Drogheda and Bohs I got in at student rates by saying I was a student. Few other fans advised me to do so and it worked... But in fact it's not really nice to lie about such thing, so I'm just being honest now. After all, a few euro don't make the difference.

Really ? 10 euro is awfully cheap... Fair play on you. It's not to stand in the mud under the falling rain I hope ?

I'd say all clubs give student discounts. Sligo are having you on. Some of my mates avail of student prices (whether legit or not). At Tolka, you have to go to the turnstile at the Ballybough side. Most places seem to charge about a tenner for students, 15 for adults. I saw at Bray on Friday it was 12 for adults, 10 for students.

Gerrit is right about paying full price. It's only fair and we all know the clubs need the money. I used to know someone in the ticket office in the RSC who'd let us in for free, but I always paid. There's no point bemoaning the financial problems in the League if you don't even pay your way.

No student prices at the Shels/Portadown Setanta cup game.

The Setanta cup is different altogether, they set the prices themselves and don't have a student rate.

'Student tickets' are nearly always sold out any time I go to Dalymount. Scam.
