Heavy overnight rain in the capital has forced the postponement, for a second time of the eagerly-awaited Pats/Francis v Derry City crunch league tie.

A referee’s pitch inspection this morning at 9.30am resulted in the match being cancelled due to surface water on the Inchicore pitch.

No date has as yet been fixed for the re-arrangement
