Yes and they showed the goals on Sports Tonight last night. So expect highlights on EL weekly on Monday.

I didn't get that one at all. Exactly what is Kierens preferred position?

Kierans best position was either Up front or wide on the right as I remember from last season.

Thread on the Pat's forum about the match. You need to register to view the forum though.

Fair enough, I thought I saw 11 for both. The McWalter one was difficult enough alright though he probably should have got it on target.

There was a guy with a small hand-held type camera in the gantry thing on the terrace side. Not the most imposing device.

Unlucky at the weekend lads. I was talking to my uncle who was at the match and he said the half time score totally flattered St. Pats, UCD brought Tony Mac into midfield in the 2nd half and he totally changed the game, he said on chances it should have been a draw.

eh - finishing and chances are branches of two different supermarkets - Pats destroyed UCD in the first half and only the post saved it from being 4-0. Natural reaction of any footballer is to take the foot of the pedal once they feel the job is done - happens all the time but the 3 points were never in doubt

Can't agree. Our defence was useless in the first half. 3-0 was a bit harsh on us I thought as we had more of the ball but couldn't cope whenever Pats went forward but we still deserved to be behind given the ineptitude of our defending. The second half was rubbish, 2 goals probably flattered us as 3 flattered them in the first half. Pats deserved the win but we nearly stole it!

If finishing and chances are so different, why did you bring up hitting the post?!

Fair dues anyway - know when you've been caught out!

Had to get text updates at 30p a pop 'cos I wasn't there - at one stage, I thought it was going to end up more expensive than if I'd gone to the match!
