Birmingham have cancelled Dwight Yorke's contract by mutual consent just eight month's after the 33-year-old's arrival at the club.
The Trinidad and Tobago international made only four Premiership and two Carling Cup starts for Birmingham since joining them in August in a £250,000 deal.

Yep has signed up with them alright. There has beena totally new structure put in place for the A-League. I know the Sydney keeper, and not being bad to him but if thats the standard of football i think i might give it ago myself

Yorke was one of the reasons why I became an Aston Villa fan, along with Mark Bosnich and Savo Milosevic. The good old Villa days... He should have never left us, Villa were his top days ! Same goes for Mark Bosnich.

If you attack me with stupidity, I'll be forced to defend myself with sarcasm.

Yorke seems to be complete waster. He probably sums up all that is wrong with football & money these days. Gets massive wage to sit on his ass & doubt he'll be more motivated in Australia.

I used to go to Sydney Olympic games in the old league when I lived over there.
There was some handy enough players but overall the standard wasnt great.
A few of the players moved to Sydney FC for the new league and Olympic are
now playing in the New South Wales league
