Mid-table sides Galway United and Kildare County played out a scoreless
draw at Terryland Park on Friday night, with the underfoot conditions and
prevailing wind and rain preventing either side from finding their best form
at the western venue.

It was a third draw of the season for Galway, who climb into fourth place in
the table, three points behind leaders Cobh Ramblers and Sligo Rovers, both
of whom have yet to play this weekend.

For Kildare, this was a third game unbeaten after a disappointing start to the
season for the ante-post favourites.
