Looks like another young Irish player about to make a first team breakthrough. Should get a good run in League 1 next year which will serve him well.

We're starting to see signs of this crop of young talent making a breakthrough to senior teams now, Collins (age 17) and Connell (age 18) both started in the Championship yesterday with Ndaba (age 19) on the bench. Hopefully see one or two more of them before the end of the season and then there should be more opportunities in pre-season as well.

Lambert will give him his debut before the end of the sesson.

Can't post link, but this is according to the East Anglia Times.

Pity two of them started in relegated sides though.

I realise this is a bit late but I was down a wikipedia hole and saw he got Salford's Supporter's player of the season of the award.

Interesting one. I think he's a player that we would know a lot more about if he had been born one week later than he was, as he'd have been eligible for the Under 21s this time around. As a left sided centre back he would have been useful to have - at least until Cashin became eligible.

They may be playing at similar stature clubs in League 1 next year, Derby and Ipswich. Plenty of youngish Irish centre backs in League 1 anyway - O'Hora, McNally, Paudie O'Connor, Cashin, Ndaba and probably more I've forgotten about.

Played the full game as Kilmarnock defeated Rangers 1-0, thus handing Celtic the Scottish Premiership title for season 2023-24: https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/66194509

Didn't know this lad was playing the season at LWB for Kilmarnock. Saw they finished fourth in the league and fans are hoping they can get him permanently this summer.

Ndaba is apparently signing for Lecce in Serie A.

Maybe a bit of an out-of-nowhere left back option for Ireland.

That's a massive jump from Scottish Premiership to Serie A, even the bottom of it

It is, and at 25 he's not being signed as a development player either.

That said, the bottom end of Serie A would be a lot weaker than the bottom end of the Premier League. I would guess that the likes of Will Smallbone and Ryan Manning, who were relegated in last place from the EPL last season, and were not nailed on starters at Southampton either, would probably hold town a first team place fairly comfortably towards the bottom of Serie A. Che Adams an example of someone who seemed to go from Premier League flop to Serie A mid table success story quite quickly.

I don't know much about Lecce specifically as a club but, if their Wikipedia entry is up to date and they sign Ndaba before they let anyone else go, that will mean they will have 40 senior players on their books.

Are they maybe a team that goes for a lot of low cost signings as punts in the hope that a few will work out here and there and then they just take the hit on the others? Someone with more knowledge of the club than me may know why they seem to have so many players.

I think it's slightly misleading. it's a combination of their first team and their reserve squad in a single list.

For example, it includes their 2 actual keepers and 2 reserve keepers, 3 centre backs and 3 reserve centre backs, 2 left backs and 1 reserve left back, 2 right backs and 2 reserve right backs. All 8 reserves combined have a total of 2 appearances for the first team and most are 20 years old. You get the idea...

If he does as well as Lecces last left back he'll be doing ok. Lecce got 36 million from Man Utd for Dorgu
    Its really not that complicated!!!
