Safe travels to all the Rovers fans tonight.
Hope any trouble in Derry is kept well away from the game
Away from that fiasco up in Abbotstown, the shining light league continues. Derry Rovers looks to be the stand out game If it goes ahead of course following last nights troubling disturbances. 2 teams in form, i think if Rovers get something up there it will be another stamp on their credentials of finishing within 10. That will then set up nicely for "the law of averages" game in Tallaforina. Its an unusual easter for us hoopers in that chocolate egg munching has to take second place to the pure excitement of pondering on the twin tenets of "within ten" and Laws of Average. koh

Think if shams can win next two games they will be almost uncatchable
Early days yet but have seen nothing to suggest any of the chasing teams are capable of stringing 6/7 wins together.

Their fans may become more unbearable, the manager may revert to type, but why would the team become 'almost unwatchable'?
It's a big eight days for Shams as they face each of the 3 nearest challengers in successive matches. How the league table looks after Shamrock visit Oriel next Friday will tell a huge amount about the title race
Derry City (A) Fri 19 April
Bohs (H) Tues 23 April
Dundalk (A) Fri 26 April
5 points out of 9 for Rovers from those three games and they can start rotating younger players for the rest of the season and have a good crack at European progress.
Wonder if we can do a sly switch after the game tonight and send Kenny back on the bus with Sligo while we keep Bucko.
Here on a technicality.
At least one Rovers bus cancelled to Derry tonight, understandable giving events last night.
Irish by birth ,Harps by the grace of god.
What's the craic with tickets for Bohs v UCD tonight? Pay at the gate or buy online to be sure? Is the Des Kelly open for away fans or how does it work now?
Yeah, I heard that, but didn't trust it. Why would the Des Kelly be closed?
Anyways, decided to go old school and rang the club - pay at the gate into the Des Kelly, if there's any left.
Cheers though
Des Kelly is open as per clubs twitter

Worrying about a UCD game being a sell-out - what has the league come to!
Would genuinely be up for that (not literally obviously, that'd be mad). Bucko ultimately had good - if largely one dimensional - ideas but towards the end of his time not the players to properly implement them. Kenny on the other hand has a squad most would even and looks absolutely clueless as to what to do with it.
Man for man we've the better team so I wouldn't be surprised if we won tonight, but in no way am I expecting a decent performance. Outside of battling ones against Cork and Dundalk not a single one has happened yet.
Jodi Stand will probably be sold out (has been for every home game so far) given the nice evening etc club has opened the Des Kelly stand, which usually only opens for bigger away support. Anyone, home or away turning up without a ticket is better off going to the Des Kelly Stand.
Continuing the brilliant crowds st Dalymount this season 😎
UCD all over Bohs early days. Must be 70%+ possession. Couple of good chances so far too. Great stuff so far
Lovely to see a full brandywell on a perfect evening for football, especially considering a cloud of anger/sadness hung around Derry given what happened there last night. Though it's not completely full, there must be the guts of 3500 there.
Typical. Men against boys for most of the first half - Talbot with a wonder save in particular - and we concede a peno on the stroke of half time
Ah well **** football anyway...
