The SDCC aren't stupid either IF both teams end up with a game on the same night and Dundalk decide to use the Aviva then the rovers home game would be changed anyway as UEFA don't allow two games in the same city on the same night.
This would cost the SDCC a nights rent from Dundalk and Rovers wouldn't be playing in the stadium that night.
You'd have to imagine that the SDCC will want both clubs playing the games in Tallaght considering the expense they have gone to on upgrades which likely means Rovers will be asked to play away when Dundalk play at home in Tallaght I would guess.
All hypothetical stuff at the moment in any case
As was stated earlier Dundalk have already nominated SDCC Stadium as their home ground, this would only be done with the agreement of SDCC. There is no sensible reason why they (SDCC) would deny Dundalk access now.
If both are drawn “at home” it will be left to the clubs to agree or UEFA guidelines will be applied.

Listed on Cytavision Sport 2HD in Cyprus - disapointed that no one has picked it up.
Just on Northern Irelands interest in European football, one Linfield fan travelled to the Faroe islands for last night's game, I know its not easy to get to but one is a bit pathetic....
Irish by birth ,Harps by the grace of god.
In their defence, it must be the fifth or sixth time they've been there this decade. Awkward spot to get to, and only a well after a trip to Norway too.
Two interesting games this week. Both LoI sides should be odds against, but neither should be a foregone conclusion. Up against two sides who are group stage regulars lately, but not very good group stage regulars, and Rovers/Dundalk have both been there themselves.
These are games the league needs to start winning if we're to have "very good nights" in Europe.
Dundalk need a big improvement on the Riga performance over the two legs. It's doable, but difficult. Rovers could claim to have already knocked out a similar strength side and would be slightly the more likely to progress for me.
I'll go a narrow defeat for Dundalk and a draw for Rovers
It's eir sport isn't it?
0-0 or 0-1 tonight
1-1 tomorrow.
Dundalk stream please
skorlive.com anyway. Probably a better one out there too.
That's as bad as anything we've seen over the last 20 years.
Awful start for Dundalk. Really sloppy stuff.
Suddenly need to do twice what they couldn't manage at all against Riga.
Horrible goal to give away.
https://kesslereffect.bandcamp.com/album/kepler - New music. It's not that bad.
Rogers is the one I'd be looking to most, but there was three of them basically on the line and it found a way through them all.
First time crosses poor again. Not beating the first man. SHould have worked on that from the last two games.
Doing well generally, that goal is a sickener. Need to make much better use of the set-pieces too
I'm a bloke,I'm an ocker
And I really love your knockers,I'm a labourer by day,
I **** up all me pay,Watching footy on TV,
Just feed me more VB,Just pour my beer,And get my smokes, And go away
Being outclassed by a better team.
Will do well to pull a goal back.
