My apologies for being slipshod with the semantics of Rovers' tenancy. Teams who own their own stadiums have been shifted to accommodate higher ranked teams in the past, that's how UEFA roll. Stadium owners (or even anchor tenants) probably should get priority, but there's precedent that they don't.
It's gonna be a nightmare when we're both in the group phase
Flixbus has a connection from Vienna Airport to Bratislava also. Yea its really handy, one hour and less than a tenner.
Vienna airport is really easy to use once u walk out of Luggage claim etc the Train station is just below and the bus connections are all outside.
Usually Aerlingus - Vienna is the most expensive, then the Ryanair one and then the Bratislava Ryanair flight but its expensive at short notice esp in August notice regardless.
I just googled it and it looks like there was a game in the same place (Esch) but the tie dundalk were in and the other tie both had their Luxembourg legs in different grounds. So it's comparable to Pats having to move their potential second round game but not comparable to the potential tallaght problem
I can completely understand why any Rovers fan would have an almost unhealthy fixation on their permanent home ground, rented, anchor tenants, leased, or whatever. But RH seand is right, the higher ranked competition and then club if in the same comp get first dibs as UEFA dont give a damn about anchor tenants etc, just that the games are held in an appropriate stadia and its the easiest way of making a decision and avoiding people having issue similar to yerself. Lets hope we end up getting the tangible and concrete evidence!! Either way fear not as we will be giving Tallaght Stadium back to SDCC after for your use! I am presuming they recieve any rental generated by our use of the ground, and probably at a higher cost per game than the rental Rovers pay?!
If Tallaght Stadium were ever to co-host another club I think RH would have a meltdown!
I imagine it would be up to the council and whatever aggrement they have with Rovers, if they tell dundalk the stadiums not available that night then theres nothing Uefa can do about it.
There is if it is to hold another match that is under UEFA jurisdiction. If it was say a concert that was booked you are right, they could say the stadium was unavailable on that particular night.

Uefa have no say in what the council do, the Rovers game would only be moved if Dundalk were playing in Dublin on the same night, if Tallaght is unavailable then unles dundalk use the Aviva the Rovers game would't be reversed.
Turner Cross is an option for the third round as well isn't it?
I suppose it was only a matter of time before SDCC and/or AGS were called in to it.
It's a hypothetical situation currently, although the contingency arrangements will be made by UEFA in conjunction with the FAI and the clubs in the event that it became a reality.
While I hope that it does not arise, it would nearly be worth it to witness the apoplectic outrage that a reversal of fixtures would trigger

Could Dundalk hypothetically use Windsor park for a European game? Its closer than Tallaght!
Lads who gives a flying ****, I hope we have this problem all the way to the finals
