    Idea's for Flags

I was thinkin of makin a farely large flag...Does anyone know the best way to do this? ie printing what you want on the flag? And where to get the material. I know Carrols do a large Irish flag for around 50 bucks but you probably make one for cheaper. I was thinking of something like the pic below..you know somethin that spans the genres/managers. Did anyone see the great flag that some one made in Paris of a leprechaun kicking a frog in the ass..Thought it was well done but that looked like it was drawn on. How would ye go about printing an image on....What are others peoples slogans or pictures etc.....

I remember Guinness got slated for producing tricolours with harps on the front back at World Cup 2002 time. In much the same way as the Irish flags shouldn't be left out overnight or shouldn't be allowed to trail along the gound, etiquette requires that nothing be printed on the Irish flag, wherever it is to be used... a mute pint here I guess...

have to say I'm not a fan of anything being printed on the tricolour, especially Davy Keogh (is that who the muppet is supposed to be) ?

    Discounting tricolours

Does anyone have the details for any reasonably priced flagmakers here or in the UK. We got good ones doen by a crowd in Angleseas but 12ft by 5ft is the biggest they do.

We want to get a few more DC ones done up

Got mine done in a place off Harcourt Street for €115. Massive one (20ft x 15ft) saying "Duff Magic". Prospect Design, dead sound & seemed like good value. Pity I got hammered after the Portugal match & lost it in the boozer!

I think there is some iron-on stuff (comes in sheets) you can cut out and iron on, which would be ok if you just wanted letters.

If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

That might not be waterproof. Check that out before you buy it.

Yeah. I'm not too keen on it myself. I've been on other threads here before complaining about the amount of people that go on Ireland trips that have green white and gold flags thinking that these are the correct colours when we all know (don't we?) that the colours are green, white and orange. At the end of the day though people really don't care and will just end up doing what they want anyway.
