    Football Teams ????

    Hi All,
Does anyone know any soccer teams that are looking for players? I mean for people not so fit and who are looking to get back playing ball again ?
Not a high level or anything i mean basic Sunday league type stuff or even some indoor soccer?

If so can they PM me or reply to this post.

    Thanks,
    Ciaran

If that's the chap from Boards, it'd probably be a good idea to state a location. You get sorts from all over here, and they confuse easily.

If anyone wants to organise a Foot.ie League, or Cup, or whatever, I'll put up a prize and I could probably pull in a couple of sponsors too. (The Brew Crew are always asking about advertising on Foot.ie, for example.) I'd need some decent interest though, and at least one person to manage it for the season. More preferably.

    Hi Adam,
I am not from Boards (what ever that is?). I am based in Blanchardstown so anywhere near there would be great for me.

Fair enough. There's a guy trying to organise a game here in Cork, if anyone's interested.

I would be well up for this. Also, wouldn't mind organising it with some help as i have no experience of it before. Could have regional tournaments with playoff's between regions for overall champs.

The turnout for the foot.ie team at the Tsunami thing organised in january was a joke, however, with only exile and myself turning up for it.

    Thumbs up

Keep pushin the idea of a foot.ie cup on hear, a few games with a mickey-mouse trophy (or no trophy even) for the winners would be brilliant. Should be kept regional until as late as possible.
Hopefully the standard is'nt to high (or high at all), I aint no Henry, hell I aint even a Tony Bird or Dan Murray
    Great idea
