That was nothing to do with the club .... that was me !!

The clubs view on it was ..... not known actually, so i cant tell you where they stood. Dolan passed comment at the time in passing but no one on behalf of the club said Shels or anyone was cheating ....... it was all my doing !!

    1. No, well i would say that H=george exaggerated injury as opposed to faking it completely. i.e. Crawleys head did hit/brush up against him.
    2. No

If Alex Ferguson said he would be disappointed his players didn't push the referee more (remember Di canio got 6 month ban for bigger push) he'd be charged with bring game into disrepute.

And if Pat Fenlon said that so would he. Lucky he didn't then, eh?

    1. No it isn't. But then George didn't fake injury, he exaggerated- still wrong though.
    2. No. Absolutely not.

I’d have to (reluctantly) agree with you there, it is not my favored option but in the interests of fair play, then so be it !!

You are all missing the point. Shels are evil becuase they are trying to increase the number of red cards just to keep Drogs out of Fair Play Uefa spot. Evil bast ards.

Sometimes you have to play Shels at their own game.

    Absolutely.
Dolan rightly spoke up on the club's behalf about the blatent Dublin bias in the fixture list. It's no coincidence that the fixtures turned out the way they did when Dolan wasn't in attendance to fight City's corner but Ollie Byrne was there to fight Shels corner and make sure things went his way.

Not true. I thought that initially too (although not sure why manager would be at fixture meeting) but when looked at could see that 2005 fixtures were the opposite of last time had 12 team Premier. If we don't get reverse of this years fixture in 2006 then i'll belive a scam.

And this is why nobody takes Cork fans seriously

If you can't see when you're own team clearly does wrong when even the rest of your fans can then there's no point arguing with you over anything. Playing Shels at our own game? Give me ONE example where Shels have done anything like what Georgie did. Go on, go for it, go on

It's hard to keep up with all this Shels thuggery. Who got the obligatory red card last night? Fenlon, was it? Now will he have to stay out of the dug-out for a game or will he be invoking the Eamon Collins rule? And who's turn is it in the violent conduct lottery next week? Baker, Crawley and Hawkins have all had their turn so it must be Owen Heary next or maybe Bobby Ryan.

Bobby Ryan isn't getting his game.

By playing Shels at their own game, I meant cheating!

Yes, Georgie did cheat but it's about the only serious cheating City have done all season. How many times have Shels cheated now? How many players sent off so far? Fenlon was sent off again last night too. And what about Collins ignoring his suspension?!
What about Rogers manhandling the referee again last week?

    I could go on.....

Yes because fouling and getting sent off is the same thing as what George done. Well done, great point!
