Sorry if this has been mentioned already. Scottish referee, Brian Winter, takes charge of Drogheda game as part of the Referee Exchange Programme with the IFA and the Scottish FA.

Dont you realise Cosmo that you aint Real Madrid..even if Drogs click TWICE at the X Friday it does not mean you will win..you are only Drogheda..

Peadar..thats good news about the ref...just pity its not against Shels here at the X and he would not take there rubbish as the Northern guy did'nt in the Setanta...

Have to say I was surprised by the suggestion that Roy O'Donovan would be a better choice than Flynnie if Billy Woods is "rested". Sure, Flynnie often takes the ball around on the right anyway.

I honestly can't see Flynny doing the business on the right wing. He's an out and out striker, and a damn good one at that, but he's not a midfielder

I don't Cork will beat us let along beating us by two or more. You didn't break down UCD or Bray but you think you could hammer us. Not much chance of that. I just think you lads will underestimate us, our whole team has changed and the majority of that change has been for the better. Forget what you think you know about us, we are a quality side this year and with one or two slight changes will be proper league contenders. I think its abit much to say we are on a par with Shels and I do think they will win the league quiet comfortably, with you guys leading the chasing pack.

On a side note, Jayo Byrne hat-trick of misses seemed to go largely unnoticed around here? I haven't seem misses that bad since Fredie was Breaking Free.

Coltron...the only people that seem to be mentioning the fact that we think we are going to hammer you are Drogs fans themselves..what do you expect us to say..oh my we are so afraid..oh we will never beat them??...all City fans know Drogs will give us a tough game and yes we do know who you have signed and think you are a decent side..so what?..we think we are a better side so we ARE going to beat you Friday night..we have played a beat a lot better teams that Drogheda..

I seen Byrnes misses against Pats and they were terrible..the problem is that Shels still won..besides that i dont care about Jason Bryrne..

Im not one to nit pick but if I was I might tell you to check out Eannas post about thumpin us. Anyhow we have plenty of belief just ask Doolo, who was complaining about our expectation levels.

I don't think we will be beaton on friday, but hey I've been wrong before, I remember the day well.

Anyway, watch out for Sammi Risteila, he will be the guy that sets up our third goal.

Sami is the man allright , reckon he will have a stormer at the X , the l@ngers wont know what hit them. Watched them in the Setanta Cup and they are not playing quite as well as they did under Dolan , reckon Rico has a job on his hands trying to motivate Georgie.

Normally trolling is banned, but on this occasion I reckon the mods will be so sore from laughing, they will let that one go.

Doubt it. We were very poor against Portadown, and not brilliant against Shels. But we're not playing badly at all, and Georgie has played well in the league so far, especially against Bohs.
