Heard that rumour during the week alright, why cos of Sean, what he do?
Any one see todays star we’re going to be deducted six point because of Seán Flannery.

wasnt registered right or something along that line. Heard the rumour last week but didnt want to say anything just in case. Such a balls,it wrecks our good start. I think it mite also be to blame for Rovers display against Limerick last week. Could of messed the lads heads up a bit.
prob Yeats Uts, think he was training with them for a while
****ing disgraceful. Clubs should have copped on by now to check if all their players are fully registered. Stupid mistake, if true. Six points is a bit steep though. This is going to **** up our season now, and to think that it is over a player like Flannery aswell. **** it!![]()

Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.
Whatever happened, it was a stupid mistake and will cost the club. How can the players perform professionally on the pitch when the people off the pitch who run the club can’t even fill out forms properly. Also no blame can possibly be attributed to flannery.
.. Flannery never informed Sligo Rovers that he had signed for Yeats United. In this case, it seems to me that the fault lies mainly with the player.
I know it's not his fault, but I'm just saying to think it was wasted on a player who is not going to do anything for the club.Originally Posted by shedhead

This story has been brewing for a few weeks and from what i heard he informed the club about signing for yeats at the start of the season and the club said theyd sort it. However what the hell are yeats playin at kickin up over this, youd think theyd be delighted to have a lad who came through there youth set up making the step up to senior football smacks of small mindedness to me.![]()

guys, there is a lot more to this then meets the eye.
would the loyal guys who run junior football have something to do with this?
i dont think that the vibes between yeats united and sligo rovers have been very good of late, because of under age teams.
It says in the Star that the league is meeting on Monday so fingers crossed nothing happens. And also that is why Flannery only played the first two games, and Rovers were just saying he had "flu" as an excuse for it
