I think Carrick Utd (in the Munster Senior Cup) held him at bay also......

Some of his golas have been scorchers...........Williams didn't even move when he scored against $hel$.....and he was 35 yds out.

City were exellent last night even at one nill i was saying to myself if we did not win this game there would be no such thing as justice in football. we could have won by five or six. Good city support and athmosphere amoungst the rebel army. Bohs were bad i rekon if they were there till midnight they would not have scored. Poor overall attendace,me thinks around 2000.

If any one asks tell them doyle had a $hit game

Delighted with this result. And events at Belfield raised a smile or two as well. UCD are notching up some handy results. I don't feel so bad about the 0-0 at da cross now.

Think that 5 or 6 would have been fairer tbh , George should have had a hat-trick. No hoofing from us tonight and (credit to where its due) Dan Murray was excelent, nothing got past him, or Benno. He even gave a few class passes (esp for Georgie's miss in the 2nd half). Only poor points were Billys traditional dissapearing act and Behans overall poor performance (but if he scores, who cares?... Well JO'F maybe ).

Great trip was had by all,was in the bar at half time and missed Behans goal disaster but we battered em for the whole of the second half and won it very comfortably in the end.

Super Kev is a gem and we should never ever allow him to leave.Good to see Flynny get on at the end as well.

    Thumbs up

Behan got a scrappy goal but no more than city deserved as Bohs rarely threatened. I knows hes got 4 goals but can't help thinking O;Flynn would ahve had a couple if he started.

Dolyer was outstanding again showed great power & pace to beat 2 defenders before slotting home from narrow angle.

Bohs have declined a lot when only maybe Hunt would get into the city team.

Dan Murray setup George with a great touch in the 2nd half but missed one on one with keeper. Georges biggest fault is he cannot score goals! Whens the last time he scored?

Apparently thats 18 games unbeaten which isn't too bad at all.

All need to do now is sort out our home form.

O'Flynn missed 1 or 2 half chances in the 5 mins he was on. Might have been because of lack of match practice.

17 League games, but we probably shouldn't talk about it too much.

Mick Devine - Did what he had to do comfortably 7/10
Danny Murphy - Easy night, could have pushed forward more 7/10
Alan Bennett - Comanded the back wiyh great authority 8/10
Dan Murray - Defended well, set georgie up for a good chance, few
passes went astray big improvment on recent displays 7/10
Neal Horgan - you could say the samefor every game. Consistant 7/10
Billy Woods - Worked hard all night. Tended to drift from wing 6/10
Colin O brien - Good without being spectacular but thats colin 7/10
George O'Callaghan - Missed a great chance to seal the game in the second
half, Battled well with Hunt 8/10
Liam Kearney - Got passed his defender on numerous occassions could
    have had a goal. 8/10
Kevin Doyle - Made the defenders look terrible (they were ) took goal
    well 8/10
Dennis Behan Took goal well, his powerfull running caused bohs defence
serious problems all night. First touch could improve 7/10

Sub- John O'Flynn Not on long enough to rate properly, should have taken his
chance when presented with it. 6.5/10

Devine - Solid and dependable as usual. 8/10
Murphy - Looking a lot more solid this season than he was at the end of last season. Simple and effective 7/10
Benno - Superb performance from a guy who doesn't get nearly enough praise 9/10
Murray - Much better. Improved a lot on recent form- hopefully he can look at this performance and build on it. 7/10
Hoggy - As usual. Solid and totally reliable. Did well going forward too IMO. 8/10
Woods - Brutal is too good a word. He has done NOTHING this season. He's just drifting around the park without making an impact. 2/10
Colin - Did all the simple things well and kept things ticking over. Did nothing wrong, but I still think Gamble is a better player though. 7/10
Georgie- absolute quality. If he performed like this every week he'd be playing for Ireland. Passed well, tackled well- did everything well. 9/10
Kearney - The only criticism is that his crossing wasn't quite perfect! Some great runs, and his ball control, as usual, was flawless. Unlucky not to have made 3 or 4 more goals. 9/10
Doyler - Ran them ragged. The guy is just top class. Deserved more than just the one. 9/10
Behan - Very effective. He might not have a great first touch, but he knows how to score goals and he uses the ball very intelligently. 8/10
