I'd imagine Jack Byrne is ahead of Judge in the peckin order

It was judgy that was brought on and did the business against Denmark. Jack Bryne wasn't even in the match day squad.

In the pecking order, A n Other (Shamrock Rovers) is behind A n Other (QPR).

Judge changed the game in Denmark as well as putting in excellent free kick for the goal

Assuming the paperwork came through ok, Mick probably looks at it like this for the Wes slot:

    1) Judge
    2) Crowley
    3) Byrne
    4) Ronan

Judge was great against Denmark, although he didn't track his man for the Danish goal. Judge getting a move to QPR would be big for him in terms of keeping that spot.

Judge is now 30 years old , has been very unlucky in the past not to receive more playing time but for me Crowley is the man we need to see in green , big season ahead of him needs to take his chance , has something to prove to alot of people.
I feel that Byrne would need to move back across the water to be considered by big Mick

Name checked again today with McCarthy off to see him tomorrow night as well as the two Portsmouth lads. If he goes well tomorrow I'd say he'll have a good chance of a call up (assuming his paperwork has indeed gone through - but the way the FAI are directly mentioning him in their press releases suggests it must have done.)

I see that it's a league cup game in Portsmouth. That would be a long drive for Mick, assuming he lives up north inbetween coalmines.
What type of car would Mick drive, a BMW 7 series?

Something steam powered with iron wheels, able to make steady but stubborn progress. Doesn't carry passengers. Probably has a large boot, filled with coal.
Hello, hello? What's going on? What's all this shouting, we'll have no trouble here!

Seems Mick may get more than he bargained for.
Sean Raggett(Portsmouth), Ryan Burke, Corey O'Keefe and Joe Redmond(Birmingham) are all on the bench as well as the 3 aforementioned starting.

Caolan Munce from Belfast also on the bench. You never know.

Didn't know Raggett had declared for Ireland. Did some digging, and he played against Ireland U21s for England's C team a few years ago: https://www.fai.ie/ireland/news/irel...loss-in-galway

Realistically, a 26 year old defender playing in league one is not going to get a call up

Crowley was OK, but not outstanding - he looked comfortable on the ball but didn't get much of a chance to influence proceedings as Birmingham were overrun by Pompey and he was subbed on the hour. Harness looked pretty decent while Curtis was outstanding, constantly involved, working tigerishly and getting an assist for a terrific cross for the third goal. Raggett came on late but didn't have a chance to make an impact

Curtis seemed to run out of steam last season but if he can recover his first half form then he could rip it up and get a good January move.

It was posted on ybig that Grant Hall at QPR is eligible too. Wikipedia (I know) would seem to back this up.

It's a really good squad. Collins, Parrott and McCarthy back. But no Danny

Mick mentioned about eligibility concerns regarding Crowley. I guess he’s also in the Ryan Johansson boat where he played u17s for England before his birth was registered on the foreign births register
