We know why he is doing it ~ Because the Biden family is as dodgy as fook, and have been for decades ~ And the Democrat party is a dodgy party and has been for decades !

This is the reality of the Democrat Party and the Biden family !

Now the Republicans are probably much the same ~ And who knows, maybe worse sometimes ~ But some People think the Democrats are whiter than white, when that cannot be further from the truth !

I feel sorry for the innocents that have their eye opened at times like this !
    Very well said.

This seems to be one big hit of pardon, to clear the decks of crooks galore ! !

I would say probably 90% of American Politicians have huge un-explained money ( and lots of it ) and nobody bothers to ask ~ Where did all this money come from ~ ~ And I mean 10's of millions if not reaching 100's of millions ~ ~ And it's both Republicans and Democrats ~ It's just taken as a given that you will become fabulously wealthy as an American Politician with no explanations !

Obviously a whole lot of this is corruption but everyone ( media / everyone ) just turns a blind eye !

You couldn't actually accumulate this sort of wealth from politics, unless it is corruption.

Suggesting that I wouldn't be 100% certain. Although tbf it was likely that he was. More in the context of him surviving the next 4 years.

Anyway. Here is Elon Musk giving a Nazi salute on MLK day. It must be great to be able to act with impunity.

The Greenland "bull****" was mentioned tonight by Trump when he was signing the executive orders. There are Russian and Chinese vessels all around their coast (I'm paraphrasing). But we sort of knew it wasn't bull**** didn't we?

Fair enough. There are some who think the thing was orchestrated and, to be honest, that type of thinking just is mindboggling. I understand the divisiveness that he causes but to think it was a fabricated hoax really is a stretch too far.

    America is such a clusterf*ck.

    Yes you did.

You said you didn't quite believe in the BBC as a bastion of integrity. I asked you why, and you went into a load of nonsense about media likening Trump to Hitler.

Given that you now acknowledge this was about media in the US - the likes of Mark Levin probably - then you've given no basis at all for your views on the BBC, which is widely regarded as one of the best journalistic outlets there is.

Could I ask you again so to detail your reasons for dismissing the BBC as a news source (which, to be clear, is what you did)?

BBC, for all its faults, is definitely one of the best (and most impartial) news sources there is. Anyone holding up Fox or CNN or, honestly, any American cable network as the true source is off their rocker. They're opinion outlets, not news outlets.

    OK.

Grand - now I've read it, can you explain why you cite Mark Levin (noted as an outrage merchant par excellence) but then say "But keep on tuning into the BBC that bastion of truth and honesty."

That's what I'm challenging you on. I asked you why you had that view on the BBC and you said "About 11 - 12 weeks ago the media was telling Americans that Trump is Hitler. [...] And the American people are supposed to take the media seriously?"

I then asked you how that related to the BBC - where the BBC had ever said that Trump was Hitler. You seem to acknowledge this hasn't happened - so your dismissal of the BBC is, for now, irrelevant. And my question on why you feel the need to quote Mark Levin and then say "But keep on tuning into the BBC that bastion of truth and honesty" remains.

Want to try answer it again?

To be clear the BBC are most definitely a news source, just not a reputable one anymore.

I would be happy to discuss the BBC at some point later. Remember I did ask if you thought the media tells all truth all of the time. You told me that was a bullshirt question. I see it as rather straight forward. But enough of me answering all of your questions, how about we discuss the topics at hand, like the media's deflection of the Biden pardons onto the other pardons? That would be the American media.

And I asked you why you held that view, given it's at odds with pretty much the worldwide view of the BBC as one of, if not the, foremost journalistic outlet.

But you're unable to answer that.

You have a lot of views you can't back up.

In general they're good, though increasingly less so.

Their coverage of Israel/Palestine has been truly appalling though.

I see Joe Biden pardoned a load of crooks ~ A lot of them in his own family !

And of course, Fauci / the January 6th Committee ~ Nothing to see here though ! ! !

And Trump has already pardoned hundreds of criminals in the 6th January rioters - any issues with that?

Really? I'd like to see some examples of him admitting his stuff was rubbish.

Fauci himself admitted that the masks were useless, and they just made up the six feet distance malarkey.

I wonder why, Antifa rioters / BLM rioters, didn't get anything like the same sentences for doing a lot worse than the Jan 6th people.
