Looking for a Pub near Longford!!

Normally we come down for the Longford - Shels match and eat in the Longford Arms. Grey lasagne, anyone?
A few years ago, coming back from Westport, we stopped off at a pub somewhere near Longford. Can't remember the name of it or where it was, but the food was great, and we'd like to try and find it again.
All I remember was, it was by a river or canal, next to a bridge which lifted up in the middle every time a boat wanted to go through. The pub itself was kind of mock olde-worlde. Anyone recognise it?

I know the place you are talking about , and yes , the pub-food is excellent.

Come out of Longford heading for Flancare Park , drive past the ground and carry on to the next village , you will cross the river and the place is immediately on the left. Its only a couple of miles from Flancare Park.

I think it's Keenan's in Tarmonbarry you're on about, iceman's directions are spot on, lovely food as he says, decent pint too.
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.
