    Afolabi ?

And the saddest of ironies, you could make a better case for Cillian Sheridan than at any other stage of his career.

Somewhere a guy who has gone to great and mystifying lengths to let on he's somewhere in Argentina, well his head has indeed exploded yes.

Eoin Doyle ? 12 & 3 assists in L2, notching one in two recently.

I still think our best option is to go with Parrott, Connolly and Idah and let them grow into it. Everyone else has had plenty of chances and done nothing.

Shipodo has eight in L1 and is young enough still to maybe come to something.
Madden has seven with four assists in the same division
As you mentioned Scully and Parrott, those two are knocking around the same level.

Shipodo definitely a possibility at his age. Madden is getting on a bit and has never shown an ablility to step up higher

Ronan Curtis is another one I suppose

Probably what will happen also. Shipodo worth an eye on, but again didn't make the QPR openings he got into anything sustained.

Grow into what? Probably three of the least feared strikers across three divisions. If that's our best option - and maybe it is - we're doooomed.

I assume this is a joke or there is some form of joke involved? What am I missing? Because all I'm seeing is off the wall hyperbole and mind-boggling ignorance.

Meanwhile, Stephen Kenny is close to announcing a replacement for Damien Duff. Lee Carsley, John O’Shea and Mark Kennedy have been linked with the gig but the chosen candidate is understood to be a new face who has not featured in speculation around the post.
I thought Kennedy would have been an excellent choice.

It's mind-boggling ignorance that Parrott, Connolly and Idah aren't remotely feared strikers?

No it's not. The comment may be a bit tongue-in-cheek/humorous, but it's certainly valid.

Is Mark Kennedy’s career as a player much of an example of how to knuckle down and make the best of your abilities ? His career serves more of a warning to any young player of how not to carry on !

Watching Ireland recently I've been getting a shiver of dread whenever I see any of our strikers in the other team's box. Like a cheap horror film, you just know what's coming will be pretty gruesome.
Hello, hello? What's going on? What's all this shouting, we'll have no trouble here!

"Three of the least feared strikers across three divisions" is what was posted. That is different to them not being "remotely feared strikers." I am very sure there are plenty strikers that are less feared in the three divisions.
