Allez les Bleus
Here's a few clubs I look for results from either on the net or in World Soccer.
BRAZIL; Ever since Pele, and Robinho is a good player nowadays.
BULGARIA; Lokomotiv Plovdiv( incorporating Velbazhd Kyustendil..played them in the Intertoto Cup in 2000)
CHILE; Universita Catolica.... A Chilean U.C.D.
GERMANY: Borussia Dortmund...Liked them about 15 years have a souvenir Mug![]()
PORTUGAL: Benfica... Eusebio and my Irish favourite women's team are named after them.
ROMANIA: Universitatea Craiova... Obvious reasons
SERBIA/MONTENEGRO... Crvena Zvezda....Since Dragan Dzajic played for Yugoslavia in World Cup 1974 in Germany. Have done the Trophy room tour, next time I am going to see them play in a match.
SPAIN: Deportivo La Coruna... family friends from there. Visited there with Shels last year and bought a souvenir mug![]()
England: Coventry City - I was born and bred there, none of this Man Utd, Arsenal, Liverpool rubbish... SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL TEAM!![]()
Scotland: Berwick Rangers - the only English club in the Scottish league.
Portugal: Benfica - they played Coventry City in a friendly, beat us 6-1 and were just walking. Absolutely awesome.
Italy: Inter Milan - been there, they were losing 2-0 from the first leg of a UEFA Cup tie against Aston Villa and they won 3-0 on the night. Amazing stadium.
Poland: Widzew Lodz - saw them beat Liverpool at Anfield, early '80's in front of a baying Kop in the European Cup. Great side.
Germany: Werder Bremen - don't know why really. Oh, I have a match programme and tickets from one of their games, suppose that's why...![]()

No sign of Everton on your list though?Originally Posted by CollegeTillIDie

I don't support any of these teams, would just rather they win their respective leagues.
England: Arsenal (the girlfriend supports them, also developed a respect for them with their style of play under Wenger and am a big fan of Bergkamp)
Italy: Milan (Used to watch Serie A on CH4 all the time when I was younger, loved Baresi, Maldini, Costacurta, Savicevic, Boban, Weah etc.)
Spain: Barcelona (I hate Real and about the same time as Milan made big impression on me when I was younger with players like Zubi, Koeman, Bakero, Romario, Hagi, Stoickov etc.)
Germany: Dortmund (was a big fan of Sammer, Kohler and Moller and got a replica shirt in 1996)
Serbia & Montenegro: Partizan (my gf's dad supports them and I don't like Red Star)
Slovenia: Olimpija Ljubljana (gf supports them, been to see them a few times and they had Robert Prosenecki one of my favs, plus their rivals Maribor have scumbag ultras)
Well I don't dislike Club Deportivo de Everton let's put it that way. But then Vina Del Mar is the next town to Valparaiso and they were very nice to us when we visited their club offices recentlyOriginally Posted by pineapple stu

Robert Prosinecki is one Red Star's best ever players !Originally Posted by Poor Student
I don't hate Partizan , I respect their achievments especially in the 1960's reaching the European Cup Final one year. I even supported them in person Vs Marseilles in the Champions League in December 2003.
The better they did the higher the coefficient for Yugoserbiamontenegro and the easier it would have been for Red Star next time they won the League![]()

Poor Student.
You should see the video I have of Red Star's 150 best goals in their history. Robert Prosinecki's goals are among the best ones on the video.
CTID it was amazing seeing him live in the flesh for Olimpija. Clearly fat and unfit, not training and a well known chain smoker. His vision in placing through balls from deep midfield (he kind of just stood there the whole game!) was second to none. Despite his total lack of mobility he totally controlled the game. At one point he somehow beat four men with his deft touches. He's a player who if he had focused on his fitness and not been a bit mad could have been one of the modern greats.Originally Posted by CollegeTillIDie

a season with verona.read it myself.nothing special, nothing particularly interesting.anyone who follows their team home and away every week will be able to relate to it,but that would be the case regardless of whatever team he wrote about..Originally Posted by Nempton

as for the spelling?pointing out poor spelling is the most time-wasting and annoying thing on message boards.cop on, you could correct poor spelling/mispelling and bad grammar in eeryones posts.when youre typing fast in a message then youre bound to make the odd mistake.its not like youre writing a thesis ffs, who cares about the odd missing letter or misplaced commas
as for the Rovers fan comment.pointless
anyway youre ignoring me so i will expect this post to be the last of it..
