we lost 4-0 to bohs in aul last night. we were very much in the game up to ht when it was scoreless but bohs started attacking more and we didnt close them enough with inevitable consequences..
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?

G.Kelly, Duffy and Mountney with the goals, seemed a decent week they had in Spain. Today's opposition although finished lowly in Swedish top div, they are expected to do better this season.

The 3-0 defeat to the Austrian side on Monday was disappointing but they are second in their league and half way through their season.

Longford at home next for Dundalk on Tuesday.

Shels the latest put to the sword tonight.

Dundalk should be very scared indeed.

Drennan could prove to be a brilliant signing for Pat's.Shels don't seem to have clicked yet judging by their last 2 albeit friendly results.

If Dundalk don't trounce Longford on Tuesday night i'll be crapping me nappy!

They were relegated last season. Would be very unfair for them to be expected to finish higher in the top division when they won't be in it.

was up at the game in mayfield. no other town fans I could see. we played extremely well. mind you cork gave us a handy og. thought in the second half we were solid defensively as cork had the majority of the chances. lee stacey was superb in goal!

Did Steacy get his name on the back of the jersey?

Ha Keane and Sonia I’ll grant you. I’m not aware of any Cobh connections for the other two?

I was struggling to come up with famous Cork people tbh.

Yeah that was an unfortunate own goal alright, could see it happening though. Was impressed by ye alright. We could've got back into it second half but Grace was brilliant in goal. Nice meeting you too today Marty.

First preseason game of ours I've been to and I wasn't impressed at all. Really like the look of Daire O'Connor though, could be a very important player for us.

Anyone know if the Presidents Cup Final is live on tv next Sat ?

Chance for Cork to go for 4-in-a-row I think, we def lost the last two, almost sure we lost in TC in 2016 too.

0-0 between Galway and Shamrock R in Drom tonight. Looks like the Hoops will have a strong team this year(on paper anyway). I would be a bit more hopeful for Galway, after what I saw than I have been. Real lack of LoI experience in the Galway squad however, and this was a friendly and only game I have seen. I would estimate 20 plus Shamrock Rovers fans there.
