Kerry League 0-6 City
Cummins(4)
Tilley and O'Connor with a goal each.
Rovers 2-2 Longford : Sending off for each side after a bit of a tear up
Pats 3-0 Bray in Abbotstown. Heaney o.g, Shaw and a trialist with the goals
We bet Galway 3-0 today
Rovers 1st team beat cobh 3:1 today, with a trialist scoring 1 and missing about 4 sitters!
gary cronin was a busy man today! he was at our game in roadstone. i am not sure who scored for rovers but it was a game of two halves as we were crap in 1st half and superb in 2nd half. dean byrne ,who we badly missed towards end of last season, got our two. we made loads of changes in 2nd half and played fierce well in 2nd half. joey o brien got sent off for rovers, robbie dunne(trialist from ??) got sent off for us.
saw some famous faces at our game- mick lawlor -brother of ex town manager martin( who runs a restaurant in east wall now!) whos ireland kitman. got introduced to the famous greg costello in roadstones clubhouse at half time.of course I had to give gary cronin stick for taking mcglade from us! stephen rice was also there as well. glenn cronin was there also!
only other rovers player i could recognise was kevin horgan!
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?
Glenn Cronin is Rovers assistant coach and Rice coaches the 19s, who made up most of the Rovers team, so I'd be surprised if they weren't there!
Coustrain and Bolger got the Rovers goals apparently.,
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.
He's French
He's quick
His name's a porno flick
