The standard is obviously v low but at least he is standing out at that level.
That's a nice shot, but he might as well have been on the training pitch for all the space he was given.

Well at least we've now established that hes good enough to play Leinster Senior League.
Hm - next foot.ie tournament might be random awful/magnificent football kits. Force to you decide!
Well, my days of not taking that tier of Scottish football seriously are certainly coming to a middle. Nice to see the lad doing well all the same. Hopefully he can get a better loan in September.

Another one for Luca last night, sweet finish with left foot. John83 no doubt impressed with the miskick by Edinburgh city’s midfielder in the lead up. Obviously terrible standard but fantastic that he’s got a string of senior games under his belt and has flourished. Hopefully he will get a chance preseason

Scored again today for Queen’s Park in a 3-2 loss having come on at half time. A big preseason ahead for the kid

Thats three clips in a row, where he has the look of Fernando Torres in the way he acceleratess, moves and carries himself.
just to be clear - I am absolutely not saying he is in the mould of Torres - but he has that same gait.
Here they come! It’s the charge of the “Thanks” Brigade!
The Scottish Lowland League has provisionally votes in favour of allowing Celtic and the Rangers B teams into their division - the fifth tier of Scottish football - next season. So not beyond possibility that Connell could find himself playing a division further down the pyramid next season than he played at this season on loan at Queen's Park.
Off to Queens Park on a season-long loan in Scottish League One, despite apparently impressing during pre-season.
It really has been a disastrous move for him - from first team football in the Championship at 18 to this. Hard to see his development helped much by this, and at 20 years of age too.
Bizarrely he would have been way better off with bankrupt Bolton
