How many of the present English team could have played for Ireland

    This is probably
a really stupid question, but can anyone name any of the present England team that could have played for us. Just wanted to add to my collection one more thing on how emigration has affected our nation.

If these guys were desperate enough to play for Ireland, they would have. Imagine if we did have Kevin Keegan, Martin Keown, Wayne Rooney and anyone else who donned the three lions on his chest and if is the key word. C'mon lads, if these guys really wanted to play for Ireland, they would have, end of story.

Brian Kerr actually went to look at Gallen last year as he still qualifies for us under the latest rule change
