Angry The team were not the only disgrace last night....

I have to say I am disgusted and angry at the "performance" of the team and management last night.

However, the attitude of some "fans" is just as bad.

I really think some fans were actually happy about the result last night.
    Why?
Because they want Rico and the club to fail, because they are still pining for a former manager.
I am absolutely shocked and livid at some of the comments I heard around me last night. These people would want to have a long hard look at why they are coming to the Cross at all. Given some of what I heard last night, they are going to the wrong ground....

The booing in the shed was loud and included many from the middle section. How destructive was that! Ok, the performance by City was shiite but people must look at other results. This is a decent UCD side. Shelbourne could not score against them apart from the peno.

I booed briefly at the end and then applauded the players off the pitch. I felt totally justified in venting my anger at the display I had just seen. They were crap and they didn't give it their all. That really ****ed me off. I hope Rico read them the riot act. As for people who are dreaming of a former manager returning- lads, get behind the team, whats done is done now and this helps no-one, least of all the club we support.

I totally disagree with you Fair play boy. We are paying customers and if we feel the players aren't even giving it their all we have the right to boo. We pay their wages and deserve better imo.

I booed as loudly as I could because that was the worst performance I've seen in years at the Cross and they were paid our money to display that. I want to be entertained and proud to be a City fan when I go to the Cross but that was ####### pathetic.

Can't fault you there, anti-dub, but where do you disagree with me?

I'm not talking about booing the players.
I'm talking about a few people taking delight that it was going so wrong for us on the pitch last night, as if to say it wouldn't have hapened if Dolan was in charge.
I've seen that team play as bad, if not worse under Dolan, so I simply cannot see their point of view.

Remember Dublin City at home (1-1) or Bohs away (0-1)? Those were as bad if not worse.

    2. Why? They cant be let go home without knowing that this rubbish is unacceptable.
    3. Fact.
    4. No they are not. They'll be struggling to stay up at the end of the season.

Of course we have the right to boo!

We're paying the players their wages and as such we are entitled to a decent performance from them.

A 0-0 draw against U.C.D is nothing short of a disgrace. A lot of the players should think long and hard about what it means when they put on the sacred Cork City shirt!
Football is life. The rest is mere detail...

Personally, I don't think it is right to boo.
However, I am not surprised by it last night, and neither can the players or management be.
It's not as bad as what my original point for the thread was, and was probably understandable.

Fans shouldnt boo their team ever no matter how bad they play.I was almost ashamed to be a city fan and not because of our performance but because of our 'Fans'.
Some people blamed murray for balls that were lost by our attackers.
I admit he had a bad game but really like you cant be annoyed at him if behan or doyler lose the ball.
