A win secures qualification, a draw makes it extremely unlikely
    Austria are eliminated already.

Ok fair enough gets but you said a draw looks like we’d probably fijish 3rd - which is a different story altogether,
Here they come! It’s the charge of the “Thanks” Brigade!

Jamie Lennon rather than Joe Hodge called up. Connell ruled out through injury as well...

Disappointing to see the squad gutted to this extent for the most important game of the whole qualification campaign.

Compared to what we have had at various earlier stages in the group there's no Kelleher, Bazunu, O'Shea, Knight, Molumby, Smallbone, Parrott, Connolly or Idah. Might get half an hour off Parrott off the bench but the others are gone completely. Will be doing very well if they can pull out the win today with so many missing.
    Keane O'Shea Given Best Smallbone

Scales left back instead of Leahy or O'Connor? Strange.

Good start. Obafemi should have scored there but hopefully there'll be plenty more chances.

Any other links please? That link is on a loop of coin toss. Typical link sources not working and Skorlive is of poor quality

Pretty simple goal to give away. 1-0 down. Where’s Bazunu?

Injured in training. Mcginty has looked a bit nervous so far

John Delaney destroy this team chances with his last act! ... If he left kenny here until this was over, ireland be qualified by now and he have his full team, instead they won't qualified and the seniors going now where in a hurry!

Dominated the first half but final ball is letting us down, that said Iceland are excellent at defending and blocking at key passages of play. Switched off for the goal, counter with ball in behind, excellent finish. Up against the wind in the second half won't be easy.

Only had one real chance in the first half until the last few minutes. Iceland happy to defend in their own half and play on the break.
Parrott on for Scully in the second half
All goals, yellow and red cards tweeted in real time on mastodon, BlueSky and facebook

Time for Obafemi to get the hook, constantly giving the ball away under no pressure.
