If only we had a couple more players like jay, who was a class apart on Saturday.
The lad had an excellent game on staurday nite. Whenever he was on the ball he looked super and didn't waste possession. Got a good few corners and put some great balls in the box. Well done jay. Let's hope he can stay injury free.

Yeah, such feet he has, will beat any full back and deliver quality crosses.
Well, his talent was seen over the years at local youth level
And thier is more where that cme from!
Like who then? Give us a few names and we'll look out for them in a bit o' red jersey in years to comeOriginally Posted by MervilleUnited

Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.
agree he is a good player but gets into great positions at the back post
but cant lay it off for others in the box too small to head the ball back
and i dont think he is a goalscorer as he cant hit the target
Well, Stephen Coen and Michael Hanley are two soon to be on the books, (Defenders), theres a lad called Neil Ewing who turned rovers down for the GAA , all from my club!Originally Posted by sligoman
As for others, watch out for younger lads (U14), such as Darragh Tuffy, Connor Griffin and Brian Harris, tough as teak in Sligo Leitrim Midfeild
And that is just for starters, as qualified coaches come on stream, and the correct basics are tought from younger and younger ages
Support youth soccer, it is the real grass roots! (Sorry wrong forum!)
Micahel Hanley was on the books but he left!!!
Gary Curran, Bellew, Emlyn. All brilliant prospects.
